Default Extended Warranty companies you guys like? Costs?

I am purchasing a used S4, and i STFA and there are no recommendations by name, although everything seems to think we should have one on these cars.

The dealer suggested "Audi Pure" which is through the audi dealer.

How much will these cost generally?

Default I just got a great one from Credit union

$1400 for effectively bumper to bumper warranty for 48/48000 on top of current year and miles.
It is called Mechanical Repair Coverage and I think many CUs offer it if you buy a car through them or bank with them

Default Don't go with Fidelity Warrantee company. I paid just shy of $2,000 for their so called

"Gold Package". Supposed to cover pretty much everything. Until they start shooting stuff down because of terminology. A-Holes!!

Default Fidelity Auto Warranty (JM+A group) are pieces of s#&*....

And so is the woman in the dealership who sold me the warranty. Don't even think about going with them.

Default I was told Audi no longer offers OEM extended warranties and that sucks!

Whomever you select make sure they have reinsurance in case they go out of business and go to one of the Web sites that can help to identify the underwriter based on the Insurance provider.

I once saw a link that GE offered ext warr but could not verify it.
Good luck!
