Default Does anyone have resonator from stock catback exhaust laying around - questions inside..

I have two questions:

First what is the diameter of in/out pipe for stock resonator?

Is our stock resonator straight trough design?

Friend of mine has welder and I was thinking of just deleting resonator and putting piece of straight pipe in place of it to get a bit more aggressive sound out of stock catback.

I do have piggie pipes on the car as well..

Default great...since you have it on hand..one more question

how long piece of pipe I need to replace it?

can you take a piece of wire and can you run it trough it to determine is it straight trough design or not?

Default measures 19" between the outer most welds

Most of the exhaust is buried under a bunch stuff in my extra room so I cannot get it out unless I emptied most of the room. Also, I don't think I have a piece of wire long enough, sorry.

Default ok, I lied! I was able to get to the 'Y' end of the exhaust

I happened to move a box that I thought was full of crap but it was empty. Found a metal coat hanger and jammed that bish in there! Didn't seem to have any obstructions and I fed almost the entire hanger in there.

Default hm so when you took the wire out and layed it over the exhaust

same route where you insert it did it reach pass the resonator?

Maybe it is straight trough design?

Default I have the stock exhaust on the car now.....

I picked up a full stock exhaust (turbos back) that had just 50k mi for free last year. I did piggies on the pipes I got for free and have been planning to do some type of custom exhaust with the free rear section.
