I have an A4 B5 facelift saloon with a boot lock problem. My central locking pump as given up and I need to replace it however, I also have the problem that I can't get into my boot because the lock wont open even with the key, the lock just turns round and round. Is there any way of overriding the pump or anyother way of getting into the boot without butchering the lock. Rear seat is fixed with bulkhead behind

Can't you bring down the rear seats? I know the answer to that already. lol had to ask to feel better.

If the trunk lock goes round and round then your pretty much screwed.

If you can get into the trunk through the rear seat, then I can help you get the trunk open. But if ya can't get in through the rear seats. then again your screwed...

got any pics on the car, and the inside also to get an idea of what we're dealing here...
