Default I have to disagree. If you market a product where you are making performance claims...

you need to be damn sure it will back it up.

It's like buying a remote controller, going home, taking it out of the box and trying to turn on the TV. Only to realize that written on the box, there's a little asterisk saying: *Batteries not included.

Except in this case, the asterisk reads: *3.0L block and additional fueling components not included.

Default I just disagree in this case. With GTs it is understood building is necessary, but a 3l with *lots*

of one off stuff is not just bolting 2871s in place of 28rs turbos. That is not to detract from the Mark's results, they're awesome...but that graph isn't at all inline with the discussion and the intended results.

Default mehh agree to disagree i guess - there are much dirtier/unfair advertising and marketing

tactics out there than a

*batteries not included* message. in fact, people expect batteries not to be included ......

Default A longer stroke isn't going to lead to more horsepower.

A longer stroke will lead to more torque.

Default its 2009 and didn't know I have to explain everything. Anyone thats been in this game

knows that you have to build the motor for GT kits.

This kit gives you everything you need to make 900HP. The supporting mods need to be done just like any other kit.

The heart of this car is the turbochargers.

Default EC's S4 put down 650WHP with just 2.8l and a GT2860 kit. Thats almost there

not ?

My old black car did 719WHP with 2871s

My laser makes more boost and timing, 700WHP is no issue

Default Mike, I'm not trying to prod...

But EuroCodes car didn't make 900 HP. Though it did make good power, did it have the same fueling kit supplied with this kit advertised?

Your black car was also an entirely different kit, VAST. Not ASP.

There's a difference between making a claim and backing a claim. If you can make 900HP with what is supplied with this kit in regards to turbos (not the issue) and fueling (the issue) then I will retract absolutely everything I've said.

Not theory or speculation based on previous setups, or similar set ups. Actual data to back the claim.

Default Why?

I'm here telling you that a longer stroke will not directly aid you more horsepower.

I don't work at ASP and I have no idea if they have any 2.7l 700whp cars. Feel free to call them though.

Default "for $10.9k you can now join the 900HP club."

Am I out of line for questioning this? I'm just going to stop, I don't want to start sounding like I'm flaming.
