Anyone else here disappointed by the ASP GT28RS S4's performance?
I was expecting a bit more than 11.6@127. I realize this was the car's first time out at the strip, but the trap speed seems rather anemic for all it has done.
For example, Brian trapped 124 with K04 hybrids, a full exhaust, and 100 octane. His car weighs 3780lbs with him in it, too. Tory's custom tuned 630whp GT28RS S4 trapped only 3mph higher despite using leaded C16 race gas and open dumps?
BBB's OEM K04 S4 running 100 octane ran 11.05 and trapped 129 at Atco, the very same track that Tory's car ran at. So a K04 S4 is still significantly quicker and faster than an S4 with GT28RS turbos? I understand there's a big difference in weight, but seriously, what is it gonna take to beat this guy then? Will a GT28RS S4 have to be stripped too in order to beat a stripped K04 S4? Is that what it's gonna take?
