I've noticed 2 or 3 times a week that when I come home, put the car in P and turn the car off - that I'll sometimes hear what sounds like one of the dampers for the HVAC slamming shut. Doesnt happen all the time, but enough where I notice it.. Anyone else experience this? I have a 2018..

I believe mine does the same thing. When I turn the car off, I hear a thud sound that almost sounds like the cabin air filter was loose. I haven't been able to replicate it and the sound comes and goes.

I have had that "thud" sound on all B8's and the B9 before my B9.5 which hasn't done it yet. I always thought it sounded like the wipers are settling or something like that. The sound definitely comes from the lower windshield area.

Mine has being doing that for two year now 2018.
Now in last couple weeks I'm getting this squeaky noise in front of me while driving somewhere around steering wheel or dashboard can't tell exactly where its coming from

I suspect I've found the source of the sound...this plastic flap. This flap uses clips to hold it in place but it doesn't take much force to become unlatched. If you press on any area left of the flap, the clips on the flap will pop open.

It's possible that when the engine shuts off, the clips pop open and produce the afermentioned sound.
