BT stteaming media controls
Is there a setting i'm missing that shows playback controls during Bluetooth streaming?
In my B8 car i could select "functions" menu that will show a playback buttons like "pause", "play", etc.
I usually listen to audiobooks using hoopla app and having an option to pause helps.
I have galaxy S8 phone and it was connected via BT not USB.

I ASSUME this works in BT or if plugged in. I use the plugged in mode, since I want to keep my iPhone charged. On my previous S4 ('14) I plugged the iPhone (6S) in (for the charge) and I would get a message that I was using BOTH BT and the plug -- I acknowledged the message (which kept it in BT mode and allowed me to charge at the same time). I found the Apple interface could "freeze" requiring me to reboot the MMI (sort of an alt-ctrl-del), so I gave up and would choose "song or track" mode and RANDOM, and let the iPhone scramble my listening). Nothing quite like R. Strauss, Jamie Johnson, Beck, U2, Strawbs and Moby played back to back to back -- but it was always interesting!
The 2018 seems to do everything so much better, I can play an album, then tracks then an artist and I can even get to it by voice. Play Alan Parsons -- tada! Wonderful!
My audio books even show up, and they're from Audible, not iTunes -- it does it all.
