Hey I’m new to this forum and I’m not sure if someone has already asked this but is there a way to swap an A4 manual trans into a s4? I want an s4 but I don’t want an automatic, life’s too short to drive something boring. Thank you

I’m with you on the manual transmission on the A4 & S4 but I think the answer would have to be a resounding No. the S4 engine puts out a lot more torque (369 vs 273 lb-ft), so unless you are willing to take a huge gamble on a blown transmission, I’d look for a different car.

yea man it’s sucks they didn’t put a stick in the s4 cause I’m not a fan of the auto at all and I don’t want to build an A4 bc I’ve already done that on my b5( very unreliable) thanks for the reply tho

If you're willing to look at pre-owned, you'd have to go back a few years - 2016 I believe was last year they offered manuals in the S4. I just did a search on Cars.com and of 13 2014-2016 S4's for sale near me, there are 2 are manuals (both 2014's). A guy I work with has a 2014 manual (I think with about 40-45k miles on it) and is not getting rid of it any-time soon.
