Default Winter's coming...

The first snowfall hit our city this morning. It won't stick, but more is coming just around the corner.

I'm shopping for winter wheels and have narrowed it down to three choices. I like the RS4 reps in either matte gunmetal or hyperblack:

I'm waiting to hear back from OEM plus to see if they'll fit my car.

Otherwise I may keep things simple and go with these M3 reps from Tirerack mounted with Blizzak LM60s:

Opinions welcome.

I just picked up some Sparco Assetto Gara's in black 18x8 ET35 w/WS70 Blizzaks from TireRack.

This pic was my inspiration.

I prefer the RS4 reps in gunmetal (door #1) followed by the M3 reps.

Scary picture, with the snow on the ground. I remember last year, we had a major snow storm just prior to Halloween.

BTW, nice S4!

I like the gunmetals too. Do you know if they'll fit? I haven't heard back from OEM Wheels yet.

I picked up the car on Saturday and caught the front end of the storm as I came over the mountain pass. It was pretty sketchy with the summer tread.

Being as though I just mentioned that I picked up the same size and offset. Yes.

On a side note. Don't EVER drive through snow with summer tires.

Oh, I thought you bought those black Sparcos. I guess I misunderstood. Same hub centric measurement?

I had no choice other than to drive it home through the storm, unless I wanted to take a "slight" detour through California first. I was crossing my fingers and taking it very gently.

I just spoke with OEM Wheels and they couldn't say *for sure* if it would fit. He said to ask online.

I bought the Sparco's that are the exact size and offset.
That size will fit no question.

Nice ride. Im digging the VMRs. Been looking at the 701s. Are your 710s 18x8.5 with the 35 offset? How do you like the fitment? Tx
