I'm going to order one with the Prestige spec, which means the 19" wheels. I'm not a fan of the triple 5 spokes, and they also come on A4's with one of the sport packages, so no S4 exclusive wheel there. So, my preference is either the 19" double 7-spoke (or replica from Hartmann) that comes on Euro spec S4's or the 19" twisted 5-spoke from the A5.

Opinions?

I really like the A5 wheels better, and they are shown on some of the A5 sportback photos, so not a huge stretch to put on the 4-door of the B8 platform.

Audi is changing the 19" A4 sport package/S-line wheel from the five tri-spoke design to 7 double-spoke design for 2010. Therefore, at least for a given year, the 19" S4 wheels will be exclusive to your car. If you get the 7 double-spoke (OEM or Hartmann), you have even less exclusivity since the 2010 A4 will have them.

I think the 19" y-spoke A5 wheel is the best design wheel from Audi so far. So that would be my top choice as well, followed by the tri-spoke design.

Thanks,I wasn't aware of that change. It reinforces my decision to go ahead with the A5 wheels. I guess there's enough official mixing of wheels by Audi itself between models that it wouldn't raise many eyebrows either.

I ordered mine with the 18" 5 double spoke design, similar to the S5 but not exactly the same...

If the standard 18" double spokers are similar to the 2008/2009 S8 and 2009 S6 but smaller in size, that would be a nice design. I am not too fond of the B8 S4 five double-spoke design which is a smaller version of the 2007 S8 wheel.

Audi should start using a model number for their wheel design, the way BMW does.

Is it possible to order the 2010 S4 with the A4 S-line 7-double-spoke 19s or does this incur some kind of custom order charge to pick a wheel that's not on the order form for the S4?

Bases on previous total inflexibility shown by AoA, I would say that this cannot be done at the factory level. You would have a better chance of having the dealer swap your S4 wheels/tires for A4 S-line wheels/tires. Should be an easy swap since the sizes are identical.
