We like the looks of these OZ Adrenalina

Anyone have any thoughts?
They look good but the small gap between the spokes may collect snow/ice which will cause vibrations, pick a single spoke design instead.

In this case the heteronormative assumptions turned out to be correct but you're very right to point out that I never said I was woman.

Default New BBS and Offset

I am shopping for my spring summer wheels now. Half the fun of buying this stuff (and owning it) is shopping for it.

I have my winter wheels and tires (MODA11 18" and Conti DWS). I am going to use my Conti 19" summer performance that I ordered with my S4, but replacing the wheels.

These appear to be a new BBS and although not the vaunted CH or CH-R I think these will do the trick nicely for me. I prefer a partial gunmetal type finish as they make for easier clean up and to me are appealing.

What do you folks think of the new CS-5:

BBS CS5
Finish: Machined w/Anthracite Accent

How to View on Vehicle
18"
$380 19"
$465
Front and Rear Fitments
19x8.5
$465 (each)
Offset: 40mm
Backspacing: 6.29"
Bolt Pattern: 5-112
Rec. Tire Size:255/35-19
Weight: 26.0lbs.

Still trying to get my head wrapped around the offset. What will a 40mm offset mean against the 35 offset? Do the wheels sit closer to the lip of the body or stick out more?

I think the CS5's are classy.

If you are getting19x8.5" rims that is the same size as the stock peelers. The stock 19" rims have a offset of 43mm.

If you get the ET 40mm you will be 3mm wider than stock on each wheel, if you get the 35mm you will be sticking out 8mm more than stock.

My 2 cents... Go with the ET35's for sure.

Remember that a lower offset pushes you "out" more, and can result in rubbing if you are lowered.

Thank you both. That is what I was trying to determine. Great advice and glad you like my choice. I didnt want the same as everyone else, but wanted the reputation of a wheel like the BBS. My other choices are the VMR, OZ, and Enkei. I think, unless negative feedback surfaces I will go with the BBS.

I won't be lowering my S4, but that is exactly what I wanted to know by the way. Thanks again.

Also, if you go with a lower offset, than stock, with the wheels pushed to the outside more, then more mud and dirt is splashed on the side the fenders.

19x9.5
Bbs chr = 25.6 lbs
Tsw nurburgring = 22.5 lbs

That's almost 12lbs difference in unsprung weight, the reason why I went tsw.
