Default What to do/not do, manual launch

As embarrassing as this is, I was hoping to get some directions for launching a S4 with a manual transmission. I'll admit it's nothing I've ever done. I'm the cautious type, and after buying a 2012 S4, I'm curious how it's done but don't want to damage my car in the process.

I've read through some of the threads and here's the general steps, as far as I can tell:

1. Tap the ESP button to turn it off.
2. Put the car in dynamic mode.
3. Depress the brake and clutch fully, put the car in first gear.
4. Loose the brake and press the gas to 3500-4000 rpm.
5. Release the clutch as quickly as possible.
6. Crap bricks.

Anything else I should know before trying this?

Ignore the brake completely. I also wouldn't recommend doing it any higher than 3500. You should release the clutch in a swift motion and at the same time floor the gas.
