Low speed surging

Default Low speed surging
Any B8 S4 owners experiencing low speed surging? My 2011 DSG equiped S4 surges at low speed 25-35 mph under light load conditions (around town driving). The engine speed fluctuates approx. 200 rpm (one hash mark on the tach). The trans is not hunting as the same situation occurs if the gearbox is in manual.
Is this being caused by a glitch in the fueling map? Seems like a lean fueling situation. Please advise.

if it doesn't surge in manual mode then has something to with tranny SW IMO.

Call your dealer's service department and take it in for them to look at it. It is under warranty afterall.

Not an unheard of complaint - I had this for the first 2500km or so, it went away on its own after a while.

Funny you bring this up, mine has done this twice now, although mine has gone up 500 - 700 rpms

I get the same thing as well.

It also has happened on the highway a few times when I was coasting with my foot barely on the gas.

Add me to this list. 1200 miles on it. Usually only happens at 25/30 mph on 5th (dsg).
