Transmission or Engine problem? Need your help?
I just picked up a new 2014 S4 and when I drive it hard I notice when I come to stop right when the car's rpm come to idle it shutters for a second. Anyone have this issue or know what this could be?

Not unusual. I don't think it is any indication of something wrong. These cars are known to have a rough idle at very low rpms. Glad to see you are driving it hard on occasion. Keep an eye on it and if it continues, take it in for service. Get it documented early.

Yep mine does that too. Nothing to worry about.

The thing is, it didn't do it on my 2013 b8.5 s4. It's just so weird that only does it after hard driving and it's just one sudden jolt right about as it hits idle. I am taking the car in on Wednesday. Just so weird taking my car in for service with 25 miles on it probably going to have 100+ by then lol.

I got my S4 in Feb, has 400 miles and it started doing the same after some fast turns. I thought maybe it's the SD that's doing it. After a while it ok again. Please let us know what they find & what can be done. This is the only car I own that does this.

Thank you 1bads4 for the update. I hope the transmission/clutch will last. The last Audi I had back in 2006, an Audi Allroad, its trans died on me after only 2,000+ miles. Love the S4 nonetheless.
