My S4 didn't make Friday morning's truck, so today should be the day I get the call.

Like Thursday night, I'm so excited I can't sleep. Unlike Thursday night, I actually have to work tomorrow.

I swear the closer it gets to delivery, the longer everything seems to take.

Well this is getting frustrating both for me and my dealer. Apparently it's still sitting at the port waiting on a truck along with an R8.

doh. well if the R8 is sold, then at least you know your misery has some company. the wait after you know the car arrived at port was extremely painful. i almost wish my dealer didn't let me know when the car was at port and would just call me when it got there!

Customs is terrible. There shouldn't be any reason why the car is taking so long to clear after it hits the dock.

It's been cleared since last week. The carrier company is the problem. It's literally sitting next to an R8 in the port waiting for a freaking truck to pick them both up and bring them down to my dealership and has been since at least last Thursday. The carrier is just sitting on their *** and it looks like they'll finally pick it up tomorrow AM and bring it to the dealership tomorrow afternoon too late to for the dealer to do delivery.

They pick up when they have a full truck, otherwise they are losing money. They need enough cars between port and their final desitnation to fill the truck up, then they can drop them off as they drive, otherwise they do indeed sit there.
