I recently picked up a 2014 S4 and couldn't be happier.

The stats:
6MT
brilliant black
black alcantara interior
Audi MMI navigation plus package
black optic package
sports differential
B&O sound system
carbon atlas inlays
Audi side assist

Perfect options list for me, really enjoying the car and the control offered by the 6MT. The intake sound is pretty awesome too. Thanks everyone for all of the information thus far!

Congrats and nice car! Welcome to the black on black club haha

Think the car looks amazing as-is but may want to do some minor things like get rid of that plate holder in the front (assuming you're not running front plates).

With the B8.5, not sure if that would be an entirely new grille or what. Either way, think the clean look would be worth it

Thanks, I'm still considering my options on the front plate holder, I believe it was installed at the port and have been to afraid to take it off and see the holes/damage underneath.

I'm also planning to tint the car this week, likely going for Formula One Pinnacle ceramic tint or 3M Crystalline.

I hope you don't think me too bold offer an option. I had the same problem with my license plate holder. This was the solution I came up with.

Very nice car. Congrats and enjoy!

As an FYI, the sound is most likely from the Soundaktor, a sound actuator:

Some people hate it. I don't mind it.

Nice ride, Old Sport//. You won't have to worry about that intake sound after you get an aftermarket exhaust, which you should consider for a first mod. Also, with the Brilliant Black, I'd recommend Zaino products. After a few coats of their sealant, you'll be looking at a mirror finish. Welcome!

Good tips Quattruccio, I actually threw on 2 coats of Zaino Z-2 first thing. Here is a better picture:

So I got a quote on the 3M Crystalline, they wanted $650, ouch. Only $379 for the Pinnacle which I've used and enjoyed before, easy decision.

Yeah Crystalline is expensive stuff. I paid $599.
