Is this new extended warranty standard for all of our cars, or specifically for you (due to multiple problems, or your purchase of an extended warranty?)

Received it today. That's stepping up in my mind. Unfortunately, my S4 will have less than 50K in 5 yrs so the 100K doesn't do me much good. On the bright side it gives me an extra year and a few months on my warranty and possibly helps resale.

I also received the letter. I think it depends on the build date of your car. I have an early 2010 model. I do not know the dates that qualify. Does anyone else know?

You can find the month and year of your car's build on the bottom of the B-pillar between the driver's and rear passenger's doors. Mine was 10/10 but fortunately was later than 10-4-10 based on my VIN number being after the range in rich8506's post.

Service Action Campaign 19H3/4F - Engine Thermostat Replacement
Received my letter today. Letter indicates that my vehicle was built within the production date range of other vehicles experiencing the issue. Mine is a May 2010 build. I'll schedule it in to coincide with my 5K service. Have not experienced any problems with the car whatsoever since taking ownership last May. OK, I bought it for my wife, she drives it easy.

Looking at the whole water pump issue, if I remember correctly only Audi of America was giving out free Audi Care and extended warranty to compensate customers, Audi of Canada did nothing.
