Default Taxmaster's S4

Hello All,

The time has come for the grand unveiling of my S4! Please see the pictures below!

Quick Pros:
  • This car totally kicks ***
  • I love the seats
  • Tremendously fast and fantastic grip
  • People's jaws are dropping left and right
  • The throw length is actually wonderful stock
  • Drive Select's "Individual" setting is awesome!
Quick Cons:
  • B&O bass is weak - will be doing the sub upgrade (no amplifier)
  • Thing is a pain to keep clean, but super sexy when it is!
  • Doors are a bit hard to close
  • I wish the ADS "Comfort" suspension setting was a bit more "cushy"

No doubt though, this purchase was totally well worth it! My wife and I love it! On to the pictures! I look forward to your feedback!

The car looks great Taxmaster! I'm sure you'll come up with all sorts of reasons to take it for a drive.

Looks very nice - close to pulling the trigger on a 2014 S4 as well. Disappointed to hear the poor bass response on the B&O system though. Will do some searching on the "sub upgrade".

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics!

Just a question, Did you go in the MMI and turn the B&O surround,(not Bass ) setting to max. You will notice a difference. Secondly, you wil need to do it on both radio and media imputs . Like black, white is tough to keep clean. I think that is why silver and gray cars are so popular these days. On my 2014, INITIALY, the driver dooor was difficult to close. Much harder than my 2010. But after a short time, it "wore in". If you really want the ride to be more cushy, lower your air pressure in your tires to 35-36 psi. Trweadwear may sufffer at that pressure though. Anyway, nice car and I like the wheels. Next mod would be to black out the horizontal area between the bright strips on the grill. You can either use Trimbright black out tape or buy vinyl strips. Enjoy! I especially like the black trim around the instruments

Unless driving around with a car full of people, I believe 39 front psi and 33 rear are recommended for 19s per the owner's manual (not 41 per the door) so Dr GP's advice may help - see if tires are overinflated (also bad for tire wear).

I've had white and black and find white much easier to keep clean than black. It also hides minor scratches and chips outside areas with PPF much better than black.

Enjoy it!

Thank you all for your comments! I really appreciate it!

Regarding keeping it clean, I'm definitely going to avoid dirt roads again! That was a nightmare the last time to clean those black pocket wheels with mud in them! But when they are clean ... boy do they look awesome!

Thank you for the heads up on the doors being able to "break in".

Do you all like the layered aluminum / black wood inlays?

I love the layered wood trim and black instrument trim but would not pay the outlandish cost to upgrade.
