Love the performance of the stocks but the dust is killing me. Any recommendations from folks no longer on stock pads? I had hawk performance ceramics on my last car and absolutely loved them.

Running Hawk Performance Ceramics on my 2011 S4 and 2012 Q7. Very little dust, no noise and great performance.

I have been running the Hawk Performance Ceramics for about 20,000 miles. They produce very little dust, no squeal (even in below zero temperatures), provide good brake feel and performance and the wear of the rotors is even and does not appear to be significant.

What type of driving do you do? If this is your daily driver and you drive it hard, the Hawk ceramics will be great for you. If you do autox or track days, the Hawk ceramics will fade after only a lap or two. So you would need another set of pads for track days. Just something to consider.

are the stock pads on the S4 ceremic? any idea on who makes them for Audi?

I am going to order the hawk performance pads even know i am far from needing to replace my stock pads, the dust drives me insane.

Also have any of you upgraded to brake kits? how are you liking them and what do you have? I would love to do red calipers on the car and would love to hear of options available?
