Just noticed these additional items on invoice.

1. SCADA2 $455.70
2. AoA LA DAA $290.63
3. Prep & Inspection $195.00

Are these fees legit in SoCal area? Are you guys paying these too? I noticed these are added in truecars.com at invoice pricing too

Don't know about waht goes on in CA, but those fees are not added here in PA. IMHO the prep and inspection fee is ADP! Aditional Dealer Profit. You should not have to pay anything above the negotiated price of sticker for dealer prep

What dealer did you get yours from, I saw those fees and complained about them, I walked from a few dealers that said it was mandatory...

Are those fees on top of destination fees ?
destination fees use to be $875 here in So Cal .

I'm currently in the process of ordering a '13 S4. My SoCal dealer only lists the following fees:

Doc Fee: 80
Prep: ~200
Lic Fee: ~400
State Fee: ~10

No other fees listed. Destination is included in invoice pricing and is $895

sorry to revive an old thread, but today when I went to sign paperwork for my new car, I found similar costs that the OP posted... SCADA2, AoA LA DAA, & Prep & Inspection. was not told about these "fees" before so i was a bit unhappy. dealer would not budge, and said that they would be happy to refund my deposit and cancel my deal.

perks of living in socal..... haha.

If they ever told me they would be "happy" to cancel my deal then I would have them do just that. I would take my business to somewhere that they did not come off so arrogant.
