Thanks! Yeah these cars 60ft very well especially given that I am launching off idle... I still think I can get a 1.5x with my current setup but may be a little optimistic... Imagine what a real LC could do, and I am not talking about the Audi one... I am running Conti Sport DW's on BBS CHR's...

Don't put words in my mouth. I never called anyone stupid. Please show me where I said any such thing? I am asking question to learn more about the strengths and weaknesses of the vehicle.

Saki seemed to indicate the S4 is a nice overall well comprised balanced car.

Funny, I was at the dragstrip 2 weeks ago and there were two of us in stock RS4s running high 12s (12.7-12.9 @ 109-111). A guy in an IS-F was there running low 13s, but had a 12.90 as his best. He had dragstrip setup for his rear wheels. Many of the C63 guys do as well. We just run on stock street tires. There's a massive difference.

Can you imagine what our cars would do with the traction provided by 4x drag radials? I think you'd see stock RS4 and B8 S4 times in the 12.50 range.

I don't even want to think what a supercharged RS4 or Ron's B8 with his awesome modlist would do.

I have a 2011 GT-R and using stock LC3 with light mods (3300 rpm), I was managing 1.7x on street tires. Although, more experienced drag racers could pull off 1.6x on LC3, but not me, lol. I have since upgraded to new LC5 (2013 TCM)and more mods and will go to a track rental later this month to see what I can do. Stock GT-R with LC4 (2012) and LC5 (2013) can do 1.6x 60' easily so to see S4 with similar 60 foot time is very impressive.

What were your ETs like? The GTR is officially ridiculous with a couple of modifications. I lined up with one and ran 13.1, and was so far behind him I could read his clocks as they rolled through his ET, MPH,etc to the point I told him his whole timeslip what he ran before we got to the booth with the slips. They are just nuts....because when you stand beside one, other than it being low, the thing that stands out is that it is HUGE. It's wide, and long, and very 'full' looking.

nice

My one garage side barely fits my B8 A4 Avant, which is same size as an S4 sedan. I'm talking maybe 1" to spare at each end. The B7 fits comfortably. I believe it is 180.8".
