There is ADS lite and ADS full. ADS lite is typically found with the sports diff and ADS full is with all the bells and whistles so to speak. In the end, under the individual setting you should see an option for your sports diff.
Yes its worth it... at least for me Its nice to put the a$$ out once in awhile around a turn

You can also look at the rear differential. If it is a sport diff, it will have a servo next to it. It looks like a small white plastic box and some additional equipment that you will not find on a non-sport diff car.

Prior to 2014s, the presence of the Drive Select button(s) on the dash would tell you. With 2014s, the Drive Select buttons come standard (even without either the Sport Diff or adaptive suspension options.)
Other than looking under the car, look at the trunk label for code PDU (or I've seen GH2 in the 2014 order guide.) Should also be a copy of it in the owner's manual.

But if the car doesn't have Nav, there is no way to get into the Individual menu

It is definitely worth it and there is nothing comparable you can add aftermarket.
If it is a pre-facelift model, look for the auto, comfort, and dynamic buttons either on the dash or behind the shifter (depending on if the car has nav or not)
