Rear brake pad change question.
My question is operational to those who have changed rear pads.
Before I attempt tonight, I checked YouTube for Ross-tech Vag-Com video and only found procedure for an A6.
Ross-tech strongly encourages to use a battery charger, but suggests different areas to hook-up depending on car model. (System charge vs. direct battery charge). No mention of B8-S4s.
Those who have used Vag-com on S4s: Did you connect directly to battery terminals (in trunk), or "somewhere else" ?

Under the hood on the passenger side near the firewall there should be a cap marked with a plus (+) sign. That's where you connect to jump start the car. There should be a negative post nearby.
