I remember that page, although it's been many years since I read it. I'm surprised it is still around. Good info there, and it's techniques like those that are really needed to complement a radar detector. Too many folks install a radar detector and assume that is all they need to do to avoid tickets.

I believe in and practice most of those rules. However I don't agree with #6, about "clumps" of traffic on the highway. They are usually just a natural occurrence caused by slow clueless drivers blocking lanes and faster but still clueless drivers who pile up behind them. You job is what I call "untying the knot", picking your way through with short sharp bursts of speed as openings occur. A car with a quick, powerful throttlw response like the S4 is ideal for this. Which is reason #3528563 that I want mine to get here soon!
