Potential S4, thoughts?
Hi guys,
First time poster (so be gentle), looking at a 2014 S4 progressive 6MT, 40k, no accidents and asking $34K from a Chrysler dealership.
Curius to know the following:
1. Is this a good deal?
2. What is the annual maintenance & repair cost of a S4 on average?
Thanks!

Seems like a reasonable deal. I had a 6MT prior to my current DCT and miss the manual. It was awesome. As far as maintenance on a 40k car, I would imagine you may have the usual oil change, brake pads, etc. I have 50k on mine and it hasn't needed anything other than usual wear and tear. I say go for it.

Not sure about pricing....I haven't been looking but for maintenance, my B8.5 S4 has been surprisingly good. My 2013 S4 is my first Audi, I've heard horror stories about Audi's of the past but mine has been pretty decent. My only warranty repair was a leaking water pump (repaired under warranty). I did have my clutch replaced at 115,xxx miles, I probably contributed to it's premature wear when I installed the Revotechnik's stage 1 software at 50,000 miles. My car currently has 129,xxx and still going strong. Good luck on your purchase.....

FYI, the OP is based out of Canada. I figured this out because the car he is interested in has the Progressive Trim pack which is a term used for Canadian market cars. $38k is really $38k Canadian Dollars which roughly translates to roughly US $29.5k in today's exchange rate.
