I would sell my S4 in a heart beat if this bad boy was in production. I'm wondering how much would one cost if it were to go into production.. $70-80k? I think they also said that it is based on the RS5 platform so it could possibly be the next generation A5/S5/RS5. An RS5 on an aluminum and CF diet.

According to some techs that were driving it around california, it is slated to enter production.

I'm not sure if want. The front looks like a mix between an R8 and the FT-86

That car is very impressive. One of the most perfect engine setups in my opinion.

Too squared off and boxy. From the front it looks like a Nissan. From the rear it looks like a Mustang. From no angle does it look like an Audi to me except the interior, where they really nailed that late 70s / early 80s look in the seats.

Like the weight though. +1 on aluminum and carbon fiber.

$150k is what is being estimated. Read the article at www.windingroad.com. Interesting point of reference on how expensive the originals were as well.

Personally, I like the looks, but no way would I spend over 2x the value of an S4 on one.

Road & Track or Car & Driver (I forget which) estimated pricing between the TTS and the base R8.

Very impressive car. Kinda looks like their electric car.

As I mentioned in my earlier post....I've seen numbers more in the $75K to $85K range, not $150K.
