Is it normal for my car to just sit on a truck for days after arriving?

Geez, high numbers. Where do all of these miles come from if it hasn't been test driven at the dealership?

Drive off assembly line onto Dyno for fitment testing - several miles
Drive from Dyno testing to certification
Drive from Cert to railcar and onto railcar
Drive off railcar to docks
Drive onto ship
Drive off ship to docks
Drive to and load onto truck or rail for delivery
**Drive from rail to truck if rail was used for final dealer delivery**
Drive off truck for PDI
Drive by tech for final road test

They rack up, under 50 miles is not much really.

Do they dyno every car or engine to make sure it meets the 333hp requirements? (or often more in the B8's case)

It's not to dyno for numbers, it's to be able to drive it through all shift points, to be able to check the ECU, engine, brakes, transmission etc. Best way to do this is on a set of dyno rollers.
