Default My ECS grille modified

I enjoyed the grille so much that I wanted to make it better. Well I messed up and had to order another one but this time I got it near perfect.

I thought that the emblem should be pushed in flush much like it would be from stock so that's what I did.
No tutorial because I think it looks obvious but I can offer answers as they come up. Above all from what I learned the first time out is taking my time and keeping everything masked up because the glue gives off a gas that clouds the plastic and it can't be cleaned.

ok guys, I keep trying to put the pics in but they keep coming in upside down! WTF?

I rotate them and they still flip over.

I'm guessing you took the pics with an iphone? If so, try taking the pictures with the volume buttons facing down. Basically apple software can tell which way the phone was facing (volume buttons up or down) but other software, such as whatever you're using to host the picture, can't decipher apples code. Buttons down is default right side up.

You're right that I took it with the iphone. Since the car is back together already I'll only be able to re-shoot the 'after' pics again. Will do that tomorrow midday to get best light.
That sucks about the phone and the pic orientation.
If anyone wants to grab the pics and jack them around for me that would be great.

What type of glue did you use? From your description of the fumes and clouding of plastic, it sort of sounds like you were using some type of cyanoacrylate (super glue and similar).

I've had the same problem.

Sorry for the delay on the reply.
My first attempt was with Loctite but I eventually found the best product was Gorilla Glue that came in two tubes side by side that you mix. It comes in many colors depending on the application. What I used was clear.
