Nice review! Though perhaps they should have given APR some credit for the tune
Dave - that 1/4 mile figure is right in line with your results. Possibly heading back to GLD this Saturday. Conditions look favorable, as long as it doesn't rain . . .

also, R&T that tested the S4 at 12.9 but they did so on a flat stretch at a race track in texas...not at a dragstrip. They used GPS equipment...and weren't on a properly graded (UPHILL) dragstrip with certification.
This is pretty common...magazines test at all kinds of different locations and use GPS equipment for timing. It's kind of ridiculous because the road test summary would have you think it's standardized like the top gear lap board or something...but they test at a myriad of locations.

Yep, and they tested a 6 speed with intake and exhaust, whereas mine's DSG and otherwise stock. So, it does lend credence to the idea that my car's performance is about what should be expected of a tune...
