Anyone know what the material is on our mirrors, and if it will stand up to "goof off"? I have a stubborn splatter on one of my mirrors and was wondering if "goof off" would be safe to use as a cleaner.

I'm not sure what the material is but I'm assuming paint and some kind of coating. Depending on what kind of detailing supplies you might have, a clay bar with a lubricant might be safer for removing some of the gunk. Don't press down on it hard, just use a detailers spray and then glide over it a few times until it's gone and smooth. Then you will need to put wax back on. If the splatter is something firmer like tar, you might want a specialized bug and tar removing product before claying.

Its a painted surface of some sort. Its not real aluminum so don't use a metal polish...
