I'm betting you see it sooner, they are pretty reserved with the dates according to my dealer - she said they typically get them approx 2 weeks earlier than the estimate. Apparently they build in a buffer in case of storms, engine trouble, backups at port, etc.

My car came a good 2 weeks earlier than it was scheduled to.

My S4 is on a boat which is currently sailing down the English Channel (left Bremen yesterday). According to the itinerary, it's due to arrive in Brunswick, NJ on 10/22. The official word from Audi is still week of 11/9 at the dealer, but it looks like it'll beat that date by at least a week.

Currently, it looks like it's going to stop in Brixham, UK on it's way.
My dealer (also in NC) said mine is due for the week of 11/9, with a port date of 10/23 (Georgia?). Maybe our cars are on the same boat.
Your salesman knows the name of the boat it's on? Is that in their system?

I'm not seeing a 'Brunswick' NJ, only a New Brunswick. I think the 'Brunswick' on the ships destination is for Brunswick Georgia

Thanks for the link, I'll keep track of my car down to the minute now!

Captain Y beat me to it. I heard from our salesman today as well - I'm on the same boat, the beautiful Grand Legacy. Jason has been a really good guy to deal with so far - just the right amount of updates without being to bothersome. He told me this morning that he's got 4 other S4s inbound on that same shipment. With me and Captain Y that leaves 3 unaccounted for. Anyone? Bueller?

Only a couple more weeks now...

BTW, I loved reading the QuattroWorld review because they drove my exact car. I'm still hoping to be the first DSB owner on the forums.

I haven't gotten any updates from my sales guy. Any information I have is because *I* emailed him and waited for a response. I mean, I like my sales person, but I wish I had a bit more info ...

The only thing I'd mention is that it's Brunswick, Georgia, not NJ.

Sorry to be nit picky.

Congrats!

I guess my lack of US geography knowledge gives me away......Brunswick is all it said, so Brunswick, GA it is. It'll make it to NC all the sooner.

I didn't ask Jason how he knew which boat it was on, but yours will surely be on the same one. A lot of us are going to be very happy in a couple of weeks. Can't wait.
