How to check turning lights?
Hey everyone, I have a 2013 S4 that I purchased about a year ago. I purchased it with the adaptive headlight defective warning knowing full well it could require a full set of new headlights (the price was still worth it). I've finally gotten around to trying to diagnose the issue and think I found the issue. I never see the "turning" lights come on regardless of how I drive. I just want to check a few things here before I go buy new ones (maybe Ill buy them anyway...).
The light I am referring to is inbound of the normal circular headlights (dual low/high beams) and I am not referring to the turn signals (one was bad, replaced it with LED versions). It is a H7 bulb. In a video online, it looks like these should turn on when the car is in drive and the wheel is turned to its respective side.
Is this correct? Do you need to be going a certain speed? Most people say it should be obvious and although I drive to work in the dark I have never noticed it.
Lastly, although probably unrelated, the above mentioned turn signal was really dim. When I pulled the moisture cover off to replace it, the turn signal "stick" and the turning light basically fell out. I snapped the turning light back in but after removing the headlight noticed that the turn signal obviously fell out and melted its plastic surround. I got the new one in securely enough but it was a pretty frustrating find.

I assume you have a Prestige trim car. FYI, The headlights do not turn on Prem+ cars. So no big deal if they don't turn,. But I do understand your desire to make them functional.
