I am looking to hardwire my escort radar detector in my B8 S4..

Or do I need an "add-a-circuit" or something else as well?

Should I hardwire it to the fuse box or the dome light?

Also is there a good DIY out there? I found this one, but it for a V1

There is a great DIY thread on this site that I used to wire it to the dome light supply. It was a fun project to do as well.
