Has anyone gone to Germany and bought parts for there car? Hypothetically, say you don't have to worry about paying for the airfare, would it be cheaper to go there and get parts for my S4? Or am I better off just buying them from a company that imports the parts? If I were to do this, which part of Germany am I best off going to?

The parts there can be less expensive depending on the Euro to Dollar rate. I was able to save a good amount but I was living there with the U.S. military and was able to save the 19% sales tax (VAT). As you can imagine there are dealerships all over the place but I just went to the one closest to me at the time.

Well right now the Euro is in the crapper, so you might be able to get a pretty good deal.

Don't forget ,you have to ship the part here and it's expensive !
