After searching the forums, I figured out that the GALA Plus feature in my sounds setting portion of MMI is the same thing as the "Volume Balancing" in the manual. I guess the manual is just out of date.

Based on the description in the manual and on other posts, people seem to be able to adjust the sensitivity of GALA Plus/Volume Balancing. In my car (2014 S4 P+), I can only turn it to "active" or "off". Is that correct? Is there anyway to adjust the sensitivity of that feature?

Its GALA if you have the Band and Olafsen sound system.

I think you can adjust the sensitivity with the VAG-COM

I have the B&O system and through the DSP menu in the MMI, I can only turn GALA on (Active)or off.

I haven't poked around VAG-COM to see about adjusting the sensitivity.
