Default First Door Ding

It finally happened and I can't be anymore hissed off It happened in an awkward location, right above the tire on the fender. I'm always careful in where I park too. You guys think they'll be able to pop this out being where it is??

Yikes! I had a fender ding from a shopping cart when parked at Costco parking lot. Someone didn't put the shopping cart back where it should be and it was a windy day. I got the DIY ding kit from a local hardware shop and got most of it out, the cost is $30. You can also go to an auto detailer, I think they go behind the body panel and massage it out. It will cost you about $150.

Hope it helps!

It might be hard to "pop out" on the crease. This might take quite a bit of work. Find a good shop.

I have used a painless dent removal company in the Chicago burbs twice with two different cars. Both dings were worse than that, but the tech was able to completely remove the ding. They tend to be pretty creative and very thorough. All done at my home for about $125/ding.

Shouldnt be a problem. I had a massive ding done by a dealer on the crease with my X3. To make things right they did the whole vehicle. It looked showroom new. They told me it cost them all of $300 for the whole vehicle.

finding a good guy is difficult, but there out there.. stupid me clipped someone parking one night(probably shouldn't have been driving, weird how things like that happen when well you shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car), only problem is i lost paint too, i elected to just leave it after visiting my body work guy, after he polished it out, it really wasn't that bad and is hardly noticeable even where i lost the paint..

anything is possible with the right shop.. i know the ding in the bodywork around the wheel is more of a challenge, but with money its all fixable.. the cars a DD for me so over the next 2+ years of driving it, more dings and scratches are most likely still to come.. cant make myself crazy over it.. the car still performs just like it did pre-little ding so im okay with it being there.. if anything it adds some character.. but believe me i know the feeling after you realize you have a ding in the car.. its a bummer but i assure you its fixable.. my only suggestion is don't do it yourself unless your a auto body guy and super hands on, the location of the ding in the body work around the wheel is very tricky.. last thing you need to do it make it worse..
