Europe S4 Pricing revealed ..YIKES!
€50,950 ($67,100) for the S4 sedan, with the Avant starting at €52,600 ($69,300), according to Automobilwoche. While U.S. pricing hasn't yet been released, the current S4 Cabrio is priced at $57,125, so the new cars should start around the $60,000 mark. Along with the price figures, Audi revealed the fuel consumption as well. The S4 sedan is good for 24.25mpg (9.7L/100km) while the Avant gets 23.75mpg (9.9L/100km).

http://www.motorauthority.com/audi-unveils-the-new-s4-and-s4-avant.html</a

cars in europe cost more.. also
the cost of the sedan s4 2008 model was 47-48k base.. they said it'll be close to that, which means 50k starting minimum.
also, the s5 optioned out for me is 55k.. there's no way the new s4 will cost 60k base.
cabriolets always costed more than their sedan counterparts.

I predict base price between 45,000 and 50,000
For comparison in Germany (prices in euros with VAT)
S5: 56,900
M3 Sedan: 65,200
S4 Sedan: 50,950
In the US:
S5: 50,900
M3 Sedan: 54,500
S4: ??? But based on the fact that it's 10%+ cheaper in Germany than the S5, a price of around 45,000 is possible. But like others have said, about 47,000 is more likely.

no way...
sticker on an s4 will get anywhere near the mid 60's....that would be total suicide for the car as it puts it into loaded m3 territory. i'd be surprised if it's any more expensive than the b7 s4 when all is said and done...and let's not forget about the 20% appreciation in the us dollar the past 6 months...makes pricing easier for audi in this crummy market.

The price of socialism sure is high isnt it.
As others have said that most likely includes a large VAT.
