Electrical handbrake malfunction +drains battery
Was just driving when i got the message "Electrical handbrake malfunction" on my panel.
The handbrake still works but does not disengage when i put it in Drive and it should release automatically.
After this issue some solenoid or something is making a sound in the engine bay and the car drains the battery in 2-3 days.
See this movie from my engine bay:
The local VAG repair dont have time for me in 3 weeks!
So i went to a lokal repair and they checked with their "Auto-com"
I got fault codes on the following:
1. Short circuit on locking for gascap
2. No connection to controlmodule electrical parkingbrake (Where is this located?)
It is 3 codes on the module for the parkingbrake...
The car is a 2009 Audi A4 3.0 tdi quattro Tiptronic
Please, any help?
