E15 Fuel
I'm concerned that the government is going to mandate E15 fuel sooner or later...we will possibly start to see it this summer according to Fox News this AM. Our engines are not really designed to run on anything greater than E10 are they? What are we to do? I don't want to have to put that crap in my tank. And as far as I know there aren't any gas stations that I have ever seen that sell straight gas. I know they exist but are few and far between. Additionally, it will make the mileage even worse!

This will make the TD1 campaign look like a walk in the park. Regardless, this is going to be a heated battle, and a lot of ppl on the boards will be on one side or the other.
I for one, am against increasing the amount of Ethanol.
General Motors, Chrysler and nearly all of the other automakers also warn that using E15 may damage a car and will void the warranty.

Using corn oil as fuel is a joke. It is less efficient, contributes to higher food prices, and is subsidized to boot. That said, I thought that gas stations will still be offering the E10 in conjunction with E15. There is a pure gas station nearby but I am concerned about putting in non branded gas.

E15 might what most people are using now, LOL! A lot of fuel out there sometimes have higher levels of ethanol in them due to inconsistent blending. I've seen it come up higher than 10% in some cases in the past, and we've checked the content due to a customer's driveability issue and found 12-15% in some cases, but lately, it's been right on the money at 10%. Worse case would be someone who misfueled a car with E85. Had two cars comes in with issues. Once was at 50% and the other was 80% ethanol.

I ran E85 in my car which was an Evo. On 91 octane i was at 320WHP. On E85 i was at 383 whp. Same power as C16, but at pump gas prices. I don't see a problem with it.
C16 list price is around $18/gallon.
E85 is similar to 87 octane fuel pricing.....
