If you remove the bumper, measure and cut carefully, you might be able to do it all (top, bottom, side) with just the 12x48 piece. You would need to fill the grill in 3 individual sections. Top (section with Audi rings), middle (below license plate or filler), and bottom (just above the splitter). Would be pretty tedious/time consuming to cut, stabilize and glue mesh behind grill.

Patinsd, you deserve credits!
I was looking at the Osir and GMG grilles. The problem is OSIR's holes are too big, and the grille is thin. GMG's OEM redo would be great but it sticks out too much and the openings are still too big, gives that rough look you'd want if you were driving a truck.
So i ordered the two screens and 20ft of the polyurethane trim, just shy of $100 shipped. This will be the first mod when the car arrives in August, i will do the left fog too.
I would not call this a mod, this is a necessary upgrade after all.I wish Audi would take notice and install these from factory. I hope Admin will put this thread in the stickies.
A buddy of mine got a WRX STi, choice of 5-7beautiful fine mesh aftermarket grille inserts, but i guess those cars are more common, their intercoolers and radiators are also exposed.
The $75 black honeycomb grille from ebay it is already in the trash can These will float for $75-350 under various names, same sweatshop krap.

At the end of the day, all is good when the intercooler blades are straight, right?
Audi denies there is a problem and refuse coverage for damage to the intercooler, yet they make an OEM "accessory" protector screen, any of you legal wizards smell green here?
