Differences between Canadian and U.S. models?
What are some features that Canadian models have which American ones don't (and vice versa)? For example, I know that in Canada, they're equipped standard with auto-dimming mirrors and headlamp washers.

Off the top of my head, I believe these are standard on a base S4 in Canada
Different 18" rims
Memory seats hence mirror tilt in reverse
Homelink is not standard
Color center display
Auto dimming mirror with compass and auto dimming side mirrors
AMI with Ipod interface cable

our tpms is not activated in canada. our speedo is only in kms/hr. different trim packages as far as option grouping is concerned. Also when I was putting mine together I never saw the option for the black out package(forget what it is called) but without chrome. Also never was offered the alum optic package with the supercharged badge etc.

Also, It seems like the US customers have more incentives and rebates available. Loyalty discount etc. Was a little choked when I basically was laughed at when inquiring about that seeing I had a 2007 A4 Avant at the time of ordering. But that is not a model difference. oh well..

There was a loyalty discount in the form of lower interest rates at least until the end of 2009. I'm not sure if the program was continued into 2010 or not as I picked my S4 up in December.

That still exists to the tune of 1% off. They're pretty stiff/stingy about it -- we're currently financing an Audi TTS that my dad got my step-mom a few months ago; however, since the title is in her name, neither I nor my father are eligible for the discount (even though the payments come out of his account and are also coming out of his account on mine).

It cost more here and less discount.
We get more standard features that are options in US but we have less configurations.
Overall, especially now $cdn is close to par of US, the Euro is in the toilet as well, our cars just seem stupidly expensive.
In Calgary, it's basically a monopoly so you get 0 discount. They give it to you @ MSRP and upsale a bunch of stuff and make it like they are doing you a favor.

Do the headlights turn on automatically at night on the Canadian standard trim? I think I read somewhere that automatic headlights are not standard on US models. What about adaptive headlights?
