Default Delay and a thump when going in reverse, uphill: normal?
Hi. I just noticed that, only when stopped at an incline, if I put the car in reverse and gently press the gas, there's a slight delay and a thumping sound before it starts to reverse up the hill. Is that normal. now I just had my TCM software updated so it could just be that I'm more sensitive to any tranny changes.

All the DSG cars have that option. Not sure about manuals.
