Default Brake Squeal (again)

I have read through all the posts on brake squeal and have not had much luck in remedying the problem although I haven't gone the route of upgrading the brakes. I think the brakes work great and I shouldn't have to spend one penny to make them better. My dealer told me that I should jam on the brakes at full speed to engage the anti-lock feature and that should remove the "film" on the rotors which he believes is the culprit. I did it, it was fun to to, but it didn't work. I live in a small town and it is simply alarming how much noise the brakes make most of the time. Did I miss something out there? has anyone found out a new way to fix this problem? Thanks!

What year is your S4? Mine is 2011 and it's covered by the TSB. Brought my car in for 25k service and they replaced the front brakes under TSB. Now it doesn't squeak anymore.

Mine is a 2012 loaded. The dealer says that there is nothing they can do.

Took my 2010 in for the brake squeaking and they replaced both the rotors and the pads (@25000 mi)...GRATIS. Count me very pleased!

Join the club. Last time I took my car in I got a pamphlet from Audi explaining why the brakes squeal.

Depending on the build date, the TSB may apply to MY2012. I had the brakes done in January 2012......snd IIRC, shortly after the TSB was published.

My brakes squeal like a stuck pig when I first start my car and it's cold outside. After driving for a few minutes and warming up the brakes, the noise eventually goes away.

Here's a follow up to my post. There is a service order for all S4's produced after June 2011. This is most likely a full brake replacement. I will know more Monday but for all of you who go to the dealership on the weekends, I thought you should know.
