I have a 2009 S4 and have not been able to get the phone book to sync -- it does it every third or fourth try. My dealer told me today that this is because my phone is a blackberry and that this an incompatibility with the software in the car!!! Can this be possible? WTF is Audi thinking????

I have a 2010 s5 and my blackberry works great with the car. Talk to someone in service they might help. But yes your blackberry will work with your car

If you look over in the B8 A4 forum, you'll see that the vast majority of people have had no problem with their Blackberries.

However, there is a problem with failing to sync phones when the Call Log on the phone is too big. If you delete the Call Log on your phone it will work. Search around the forum (and other forums), you'll see plenty of threads about this.

Is it a company cell phone? If so some companies block that out of bluetooth. I have several employees of the major banks as clients and their phonebooks are blocked via bluetooth. OR if you have to unlock your blackberry to use it, I've seen that also prevent pairing until you unlock it. Lastly, you're in the US? You do not have a 2009 S4, it's a 2010. There was no 2009 S4 unless you drive a convertible. If that's the case, wrong forum your car would be a B7 platform.

I am probably going to get some flack for this but check out this site for suggested settings for your phone.

I had a problem with my phone until I adjusted the settings on the phone (using this site), has worked ever since. May be worth a shot...

have a new 2011 Q7. each time i pair my bb9630 it connects the phone but to no particular number. i cannot end the call. it paired correctly one time but only after messing with it alot. what is the problem?
