Ah gotcha, if you wanna do any logging just let me know.

Nice work guys. Got a Vag the other day here in Utah and went out last weekend to log a bit around 6000-8000'. Still trying to figure out things but between work and home its 4000-7000' so I could replicate mile high somewhere in between. Since I have a stasis tune it could shed some more light on the situation. CJ and I were discussing this on the other board a while ago.

So what should I log? 426, 710, 24, 35, 500, 501? Anything else? I can probably jump off the interstate then hit the on ramp to achieve full accel up to a point. The place I'm thinking is at around 5800' and uphill.

Does this sound like it would work to help compare things?

See you,
-Tim

Tim, that would be cool... What year car? 436 is boost, 710 is bypass on 11 S4's but on 10's it's 702 the field name is RFP_AV, 24 throttle, 35 rpm, and 632 IAT... That's good for some pulls you could also check timing pull 292-297... make sure to hit turbo mode... Try to go through as many gears at WOT as possible, w/o getting in trouble... LOL That's why I always try to log my 1/4 mile passes since I can go into 5th gear and get WOT readings the whole way... Looking forward to the results...

Nice. Mine's an '11 so I'm happy to hear that you guys found the bypass code. I will see if I can get something on the way home tomorrow. Should be able to log a few 0-80's or around there. I'll also try to get ambient temp and pressure...

I have the APR on my '10 and would volunteer it for dyno if you guys need it. Live right downtown too.

I think everyone is more concerned/curious as to boost levels and bypass more than dyno numbers... Really want to see how much boost a tuned car makes compared to a stock one and also how much bypass... Matt(Forza) has already visited the track a few times so maybe you could hit the strip with him the next time he goes...

Sweet man, let's get together and do some logs on your car. I live right next to Union Station so I'm super close. Would love to see what your car is doing with APR. I'm assuming the 91 tune, do you have the pully?

I'm always up for a dyno run too, I'd like to get a baseline at a minimum just in case the future holds something

PM me with your number and we can figure something out.

+1, these two comparisons would be excellent.

Default Got a couple runs in with the Vag

So I found a decent place to do a few quick 0-whatever runs after work. Here's a screen capture below of the best data I could capture.
I have maybe 5 more sprints that I can post if it would help the analysis.

The conditions were roughly 90 degrees, at ~5800ft, on a slight to moderate uphill.

Thoughts after seeing this (Stasis tuned)?

Thanks!

Ambient temp is horrible... IAT's pretty bad... No more boost than Matt made, actually less... Not enough testing... Your psi calculation is not correct, you need to subtract 1000 hpa before multiplying by 0.014503774
You both need to log in similar conditions but my guess is your not making much more if anymore boost than he is... 5800ft above sea level + 90F FTL! Thanks for sharing... be cool if you guys hook up and compare on same day same road...
