It's the lighting. That photo was taken after 8pm at night. In the sun, you can see the blue hue in the paint. When parked next to a black car, you can see the difference clearly.

So What is Adaptive damping?
I think I'm falling for the new 2015 S4
Besides the price, I'm concerned about the rough road surfaces in NJ and whether the answer lies in selecting 18" wheels or whatever adaptive damping might be.
Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Mine has 19" and I find my ride in "comfort" mode is very comfortable, not harsh at all. So, I think going with 18" will help absorb the road even more. I pretty much leave mine on "dynamic" mode all the time, for the joy of performance driving... but I don't know about NJ roads, so can't really comment on that experience.

Great looking car. How do you like the Aluminum/Black Wood Inlays in person? Do you feel they are worth the price of admission ($1100)? How do you like them with the two-tone leather interior?

Similarly, the two-tone Nappa looks amazing in person. It makes the interior stand out much more emphasizing it's high performance personality of an S4. I can't be happier with my combo...
