Default why doen't audi have official extended warranty program?

The warranty period of my s4 becomes almost expired. I don't know why audi doesn't have official extended warranty program, even though bmw and mercedes have. Isn't it another cash-cow anyway???
Is it a better idea to buy one from private warranty broker or some local dealors?

Default Huh? BMW and Mercedes has an official Extended warrranty plan?

Audi has a very similar layout that BMW and Mercedes has.. They have a CPO program on certified used cars they sell, or they can sell you an aftermarket warranty that is not sponsored by the manufacturer...

The only real difference I know of with Audi is that their CPO is not transferrable when you sell your car anymore..

I just came out of a BMW and got an Audi...

Default is bmw's aftermarket warranty? Huh? BMW and Mercedes has an official Extended warrranty plan?

Really? I just can't understand what I've found in bmw's website, vs. Audi's below:
Is it all aftermarket warranty then???

Original owners can also extend their contracts.
If you're the original owner of your BMW, you can extend your service contract for up to 6 years or 100,000 miles for coverage of mechanical breakdowns.

Does Audi offer an extended warranty?

Currently, Audi does not offer an extended warranty program. Warranty extensions are administered on an individual dealer basis. Your local Audi dealer can most effectively assist you in answering all of your questions.

That doesn't sound like a warranty but an extended scheduled maintenance contract...
