Whinning Noise during Downshift/Upshift

Hey Guys i have this high pitch whinning noise during downshifts and before upshifts over 3500 rpms. I have the tiptronic. Anyone have this problem before. The car only has 25k on it. On a side note when does Audi reccommend a tranny service....Thanks

Its the beutiful sound of 8 cylinders. Its INTOXICATING if you ask me.

Wheel bearing fried.

I agree I told my wife to get out of the car!.....turns out it was a wheel bearing.....500 bucks later. Car has 23k Im a tad pissed.

I have never seen a maintenance schedule for the Tip. I have looked at the procedure in the manual and it's not a simple extract and replace. There is a step where the trans fluid must be a the correct temp to check the level. This can be done with a dealer tool or VAG-COM.
