when if ever do you all think there will be a B7 S4 convert. out?

i'm from the Orig. S car forum - and a teacher of mine is in love with the B7 S4 but wants a convert.

if you want a convertible body on an S4, you don't deserve one.

The current body will be sold through August 2006.

Fall 2006 will see the "B7" A4/ S4 Cabriolet.
New for 2006 with the 6 speed is the new 40/ 60 Quattro.

Why's that? Convertibles aren't bad, and more power is always better, eh? RS4, diff. story...

I just don't see the S4 as that much of a race car, it's about 1/2 way there, the M3 is maybe 2/3 of the way there, the M3 CSL closer still, along with the RS4 in that last league (in 'no fat' euro trim).

But the S4 is a luxury sport sedan/wagon, and, why not a convertible too. Fun to listen to a Labree or Milltek exhaust with the top down, I'd have to imagine...
