i ahd it on 8/8 and it was slightly stiffer than shock.. but 4/6 feels great! stiff but still streetable

That's odd... you should never have it "softer" up front, as its more heavy up front
If you want stock like ride, 8/8 was almost stock like (slightly stiffer). I think you'd really like it. Or maybe 6F/8R to make the front a little stiffer to handle the extra weight of the engine.
